Hon. Andrew Peters
Executive Director/NIR

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hon. Andrew Peters is the Executive Director of the National Identification Registry, he is a seasoned politician, accountant, and Administrator with more than twenty-six (26) years of work experience.


He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting (BBA) from the University of Liberia and a candidate of MBA in Corporate and Public Finance at the AME Graduate School of Professionalism. He obtained several certificates in Audit and Internal Control; Public Sector and Public Policy Management from Liberia Institute of Public Administration.

Hon. Peters working experience and work Ethic is the foundation of his outstanding output. Key to his excellent performance has been the upholding of professionalism with integrity and confidentiality. A result oriented person with a strong passion for excellence; he possess excellence proactive organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as good communication skills. His work experience started since 1997 at the Ministry of Transport as Payroll and Personnel Officer, in 1998 he was promoted to the position of Deputy Personnel Director. In 2003, Hon Peters took up a new assignment at the Liberia Petroleum Refinning Company(LPRC) as Station Supervisor and later in 2007 promoted as Superintendent in the Inspectorate Division of the LPRC. He left the public sector and went to the private sector as the CEO of National Empowerment Concept INC.

His personal and technical skills are: Sound analytical and problems solving skills; Ability to be proactive and applying problems solving strategies in a social economic environment; Ability to gather, maintain and organized documentations in a systematic style; Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and stay productive under stress; Ability to effectively monitor and evaluate; Able to identify with and work in a undiversified environment; Flexibility and adaptability bin a new working environment; Proven ability to work and manage team and lastly he is Fluent in speaking and written formal English

 

 




Hon. Zeze R. Reed
Deputy Executive Director
Technical Services


Hon. Zeze R. Reed has been the Deputy Executive Director for Technical Services since October 2015. Hon. Reed brings to this position over thirty years of management and organizational skills, quality assurance, program development and training experience. Prior to joining the National Identification Registry, he served as Project Director, DATAWARE Corporation ( Software Development Corporation), where he directed the integration of an on-line banking package for the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI), supervised a team of business, systems and program analysts in the design and implementation of the entire on-line banking package, prepared materials and conducted training for LBDI staffs.

Hon. Reed also served as Senior Manager, Data Processing at the National Housing & Savings Bank, where he Managed the development of an interactive database for the bank’s operations, supervised team of programmers and systems analysts, developed a computerized reporting system for the bank’s operations including assets and liabilities, developed system maintenance procedures including backups and recoveries, planned and executed systems development projects using consultancies, prepared materials, and conducted training for bank operations.

Hon. Reed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Liberia; a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from American University, Washington, D.C. USA; completed 15 credits of Graduate courses in Education Administration, Trinity University, Washington, D.C USA, and also earned a Certificate in Client/Server Programming (Oracle, ASP, JAVA), CSC Institute, Southampton, P.A , USA.


Hon. Marcus G. W. Pyne

Hon Marcus G. W. Pyne earned his Bachelor of Business Administration-Business Management in 2010 and also Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting 1998 at the University of the District of Columbia respectively, Washington, D.C., USA.

After his graduation from High School, he enrolled at the Modern Commercial Institute, Center Street, Monrovia, where he earned his first Associate Degree in Accounting 1984.

During his tenure at Vivian Management Team/JB Johnson Nursing Center as Staff Accountant, he performed the following duties: payroll processing of 550-600 employees bi-weekly payroll full circle; researching and reclassifying accounts in the general ledger; processing direct deposits; and child support and garnishment. He was also responsible for the processing of electronic payment of Federal Income Taxes 940 and 941 and monthly payment of State Taxes.

Hon. Pyne worked at Jackson Hewitt as Tax Consultant, preparing individual and business taxes. While working at Jackson Hewitt, other duties included: mortgage interest, real estate taxes, property taxes, mutual funds, bonds and stocks.

While in Liberia, he worked with the F&F Electronic Inc. as Chief of Staff/Administrative Assistant to the General Manager. Duties included: supervision of the administrative and technical staff of the various departments, monitoring the shipping and import of Wang Computers and Motorola Handsets plus Harris Corporation Radio Communication Installation for Liberia Rural Broadcasting Communication Network in the various counties during the eighties. The handling of monthly payroll and invoices for vendors, bank statements reconciliation, petty cash expenses and deposit to the general ledger.
